Last weekend, thousands of people flooded the D.C. National Mall for a massive prayer rally. It was organized by Rededicate 250, a White House-backed group determined to officially make the U.S. “one nation under God.” It’s always worth asking: Which God? It’s a safe bet they aren’t envisioning a nation under Allah, Shiva or Yahweh.

They want the Judeo-Christian model, neatly wrapped in an American flag. Constitutional separation of church and state is supposed to protect everyone—Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus and atheists alike.
