I’m generally optimistic, but the economic news increasingly points toward trouble. I’ve watched videos from Warren Buffett, Chase Manhattan Bank and several economists, who predict a real estate crash in the United States within the next two to six months—possibly worse than the 2008 recession.

Even American Express is not increasing credit limits for many cardholders. What has shocked me most is the turmoil in the bond market and the national debt rising to $40 trillion. Bond yields in this country—and in Europe and Japan—have reached their highest levels since 2007.
