A New Day to Play Three cheers to Salt Lake City for their recent renovation of Steenblik Park (1050 W. 800 North)! As a Rose Park local who frequently walks about to clear my head, I am always charmed by the distinctive sight of Day Christensen’s cat sculptures as well as the many people who use the grounds for rest and recreation.
This is the first of Salt Lake’s parks to receive a full renovation funded by a recent parks bond and it now includes some new equipment, extra trees and more shade.
