Thanks Bernie Bernie Sanders helped Donald Trump win in 2016 by bitterly dividing the Democratic party. Trump then stacked our judiciary with right-wingers. I was not in love with Hillary Clinton, but she would have been a much better president than Trump. In 2026, Bernie has endorsed untested left-wing candidates including Graham Platner in Maine and Nate Blouin in Utah.
Simple vetting would have exposed serious flaws, like a nazi tattoo or past anti-LDS comments. The Democratic party needs new blood. But it needs to come from winning elections, and not from back-stabbing moderate Democrats.
