Save our Sequoias Hiking along the Wasatch Front, I came across a juniper tree so large, its long, sturdy legs spread in every direction, easily spanning over 20 feet. How old could this tree be? Imagine all of the things it has seen perched up on the mountainside looking over the valley.

It could have been here long before America was even created. Yet, the impressiveness of this tree pales in comparison to that of the great sequoias along the Sierra Nevada.
