Dating Needs Voir Dire Men aren’t quitting dating because it’s too expensive. Or because dating apps are broken. Or because nobody knows who should text first. They’re quitting because somewhere along the way, dating became an interview with people who have absolutely nothing to say.
George Carlin would’ve had a field day. Everyone likes to travel. Everyone is a foodie. Everyone loves live music. Everyone wants someone who can “make them laugh.” We’ve confused preferences with personalities. The problem isn’t that people are bad. The problem is they’re astonishingly well-curated.
