As America’s executive maniac continues transforming a once-respectable country into a carnival midway, we can’t say we didn’t have adequate warning. The reality of Trump—N.Y.’s most visible fraudster, serial business failure, tax cheat, rapist and lover of lies—is commonly accepted fact.
His worshipers know it, his enemies know it and the full disclosure of the Epstein files will likely expose the absolute worst of it. Entering an era of presidential greed unequaled in 250 years, there seems little cause for a 4th of July celebration.
