Happy New Year, one and all! I hope the holiday season was both pleasant and restorative for you. How was ours, you ask? We at Casa Long visited my parents in Delaware, where they’re adjusting to a new home amid new surroundings. It’s been a stressful experience for them, being far away from both their children and the state they know best, but I’m happy to say that they’re making friends and settling in better than they realize.

As for me, it was a delight to see them and visit cities like Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, as well as to venture into nearby Philadelphia and Pennsylvanian Amish…
