My youngest is 10 and trans. Knowing that, perhaps readers will understand my frustration with the Utah Legislature these last few years, as they trample over my child’s health care. This session is worse than ever. In addition to HB17—further restrictions on hormone therapies for kids—HB193 would prohibit public money from supporting gender-affirming care, including public employees on government health plans.
