I remember the moment I first tasted the exquisite pop of cinnamon in Eats Bakery’s classic cinnamon roll. It was love at first bite. Maybe you’ve seen them at various farmers markets, or you’ve passed by their brick-and-mortar store at 248 E. 100 South. But do you know the story of how Eats began?
Eats owners Kandi and Byron Tesen met in the U.S. Army Reserve. She fell hard and fast, but Byron was on a different page. “I had to chase him,” Kandi recalled. After he (finally) showed interest a few months later, the pair fell in love and started a family while continuing their military careers.
