It’s that time again! Pet Appreciation Week, or PAW, is upon us—recognized on the first full Sunday-to-Saturday span of June to promote pet ownership and the joys that our furry, feathered and scaled friends bring to everyday living. The observance occurs this week from June 7 to 13.
There are many ways to honor the occasion, thanks in no small part to Utah’s many humane organizations. But City Weekly would be remiss in its duty if it didn’t also shine a light on the remarkable people who contributed to what we now take for granted.
