McKenna Hamilton remembers her grandfather’s last day. Her mother called her at work and told her to come home if she wanted to say goodbye. Hamilton rushed and found the nurse and her mother were already there. “I crawled in bed with my grandpa and held his hand as he took his last breath,” Hamilton recalled.
