The Cycle of Love **** I don’t take lightly a movie that leaves me weeping with emotion, and Orlando von Einsiedel’s mix of documentary and drama gives its fact-based story a real punch. In 1976, Indian street artist PK Mahanandia meets Swedish tourist Lotta in Dehli, and they share a real-life Before Sunrise scenario of a few weeks together before Lotta returns home; a year later, PK undertakes a 6,000-mile journey by bicycle to reunite with the woman he’s convinced is his destiny.
