I love baseball. I love the Major and Minor Leagues and, one summer, I even became a softball umpire for Salt Lake County Recreation. That was both fun and frightening. If I didn’t make the “right” calls, I might get followed back to the parking lot by angry fans.
I realized that I’d make a better fan than official, so one season was enough for me. Like many, I’m not happy that our Bees have moved to Daybreak, since I’m a Downtown SLC person. But I hope that the projected vision for the old stadium will be a great addition to the neighborhood and for those of us who might visit.
