SALT Contemporary Dance: Radio Silence As part of a commission from Utah Presents as the original days of the COVID pandemic were waning, SALT Contemporary Dance created Radio Silence . It was a show with a soundtrack that included vintage music and radio broadcasts of the 1930s, inspired by the resilience emerging from the Depression-era years and the era in which the show’s original venue, Kingsbury Hall, was built.

Since then, according to artistic director and choreographer Amy Gunter, it has become a concept that they love returning to.
